PROVIDING LIVELIHOOD – 2 FAMILIES UNSDG- 8 DECENT WORK & ECONOMIC GROWTH
Most heart touching project done by JCI Kamrup Elite was giving earning opportunities to two families. One of them is an old Panditji whose shop at paltan bazar was looted by thieves and he had no savings to continue his livelihood. He approached us at our vaccination camp and asked for help. Our team immediately went to his shop and saw that he had nothing left. So our team decided to fill his shop with all the pujan samagris and brass utensils so that he can restart his shop and earn for his livelihood.
Another touchy incident is of a woman whose husband left her and ran away with his girlfriend. This lady has 1 daughter and all they had was a shop with zero stock. They didn’t even have money to fill the shop. Our team decided to fill their shop with all types of rations and day to day usage items, so that they can sell and live their life comfortably
Both the shops were inaugurated by Purushottam Singh Rajput SI of Paltan bazar police station in the presence of our ZD Program JC Sumit jhawar & Chief editor Rise Plus Sampat Mishra ji .
