JCI Kamrup Elite celebrated World Blood Donors Day by organising a blood donation camp at Marwari Hospital Blood Bank, Athgaon wherein they collected 28 units of blood . Total 35 donors were present out of which 07 donors were rejected due to medical reasons. 9 donors donated for the first time in their life. The event was graced by our Zone Director Program JC Sumit Jhawar. Our Charter President JC Sumeet Sethi donated blood for the 41st time today. The project chairperson of the same was JC Dheeraj Saraogi and JC Abhinandan Sogani and camp coordinator was JC Beejeet Parakash.
JCI Kamrup Elite carried out the biggest plasma donation drive in Zone XXV for help in the recovery of COVID-19 affected patients. One unit of plasma can save two lives & we are happy we could motivate 15 covid recovered patients to donate plasma thus helping in saving 30 lives. JCI Kamrup Elite felicitated three members of our society under LIFE ICON HONORS FOR DONATING BLOOD more than 25 times. We felicitated Mr Priyank Jalan (36 times) JC Sumeet Sethi (41 times) & JC Vikash Patni ( 31 times). We shall be continuing felicitating more people under LIFE ICON HONORS to motivate youths to come forward & donate blood.
